PizzaPOS is a point of sale and restaurant software platform built for pizzerias. It is operated by Pizza Phone AI Inc. ("PizzaPOS," "we," "us," or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information through the PizzaPOS website, our early-access application, our point of sale, online ordering, payments, kitchen, and website products, our support channels, and our messaging services.
PizzaPOS provides software to pizzerias and restaurant groups ("restaurants"). We interact with restaurant owners, operators, and staff, with people who apply to our early-access program, with visitors to our website, and with the restaurant's own customers when they place orders through a restaurant that uses PizzaPOS.
When a customer orders from a restaurant that uses PizzaPOS, we process that customer's information on behalf of the restaurant so the restaurant can take, prepare, and fulfill the order. The restaurant is responsible for how it uses its own customer information.
Depending on how you interact with PizzaPOS, we may collect:
We may collect only some of these categories for a particular interaction.
We may use information to:
We do not use transactional SMS consent for marketing or promotional messages.
When you apply through our Apply for Early Access form, we use the information you submit to evaluate your application, contact you about the program, and understand what your restaurant needs. Submitting an application does not create an account or a contract, and it does not guarantee acceptance into the program.
PizzaPOS may send text messages only after you give consent. There are two ways this can happen:
If you check the SMS consent box on our Apply for Early Access form, you agree to receive calls and text messages from PizzaPOS about your application and the early-access program. Consent is not a condition of applying or of any purchase.
If a restaurant uses PizzaPOS order notifications and you choose to receive them, PizzaPOS may text you transactional messages about your order, such as an order confirmation or a notice that your order is ready for pickup.
Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time. Reply HELP for help or contact [email protected]. Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
We do not send marketing, promotional, or bulk broadcast messages using transactional consent. Consent records may include the telephone number, date and time, consent source, and consent wording.
Card payments made through PizzaPOS are processed by third-party payment-processing partners. Complete card numbers are handled by those partners and are not stored by PizzaPOS. We may receive limited payment information, such as the card type, the last four digits, the amount, and the transaction status, to show transaction records and support refunds and reporting.
Restaurants that use PizzaPOS payments may be asked to provide business, ownership, and banking information to our payment-processing partners so they can open a merchant account. That information is handled under the partner's own terms and privacy policy.
PizzaPhone.ai is our sister brand and provides AI phone answering for restaurants. When a restaurant uses both services, information may be shared between PizzaPOS and PizzaPhone.ai to operate the connected features, such as linking calls to online ordering. Information handled by PizzaPhone.ai is also covered by the PizzaPhone Privacy Policy.
We may disclose information:
We do not sell or rent personal information. We do not share mobile information or SMS opt-in data with third parties for their own marketing or promotional purposes.
We may use cookies, analytics, pixels, logs, and similar technologies to operate, secure, measure, and improve our website and online ordering pages. You can control cookies through your browser settings, but some features may not work without them.
We keep information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including providing the service, meeting contractual, tax, accounting, and payment-network obligations, maintaining security, resolving disputes, and complying with the law. Transaction and order records may need to be kept for longer periods to meet legal and financial record-keeping requirements.
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No online service can guarantee absolute security.
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting [email protected]. If your request relates to an order you placed with a restaurant, we may refer it to that restaurant or handle it with them.
We may need to verify your identity before completing a request. We may keep limited information where required by law, to honor an opt-out, or to protect legal rights.
PizzaPOS is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, including as PizzaPOS adds features during early access. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
